Rocky Scarfone
This time on the "Rocky Scarfone," that Evan told about in his story.
Aparently the guy really did write an acclaimed book, even President Clinton and Pat Robertson gave him praise! Quite a variety of input. Scarfone either ran or was part of a Youth Christian website, and is involved in a publishing company called "M.A.G.I.C." books.

It was after this experience that I would discover the truth about my father and his death; the awesome truth of my family's history and the fact that I seemed doomed to a life of crime and death--as had four generations of manly ancestors before me! I would leave NYC and travel the width and length of this country searching; seeking; experiencing.
From then on it was a constant battle between survival and my desperate desire to be someone, to make it, to discover family and love. But I could never totally recover from those years of abuse and suffering, not until I found Jesus Christ at 40 years of age!

I am actually a friend and business associate with Mr Scarfone and I'll be happy to tell you that he's the real deal. I've never met anyone like him. If you think the book is good, you should hear them face-toface.

I must differ with you. Scarfone is really nothing more than a opportunistic thug and cyber-bully who uses the web to harass and intimidate honest people: authors, real ministers, neighbors and even people he hardly knows because he thinks it makes him seem important and powerful.
He claims to be a Christian Youth Minister yet publishes hate-filled web sites calling people terrorists, Communists and Nazis, telling them they're going to hell, calling the cops on his neighbors because he doesn't like a light in their yard, using obscenities in front of children. In other words, he's a real piece of nasty work.
I really like the term used by one of his numerous (and I mean many) victims. Scarfone's a keyboard coward.

I've met Scarfone. The guy is a crock of s#!^. Mean-spirited and a full of himself, he's no Christian and not anyone I would associate with. He has several aliases:

His favorite hobby is to set up websites with lies and the most outrageous crap he can think up, try to pass it off as legitimate "news reporting" then wait to be sued. He likes to go to court representing himself and pretend he's the greatest lawyer of all time. This has happened at least 4-5 times that I can verify.
I can't wait for this useless piece of junk to end up in jail where some much bigger criminals will make him their b-itch. He deserves every inch that gets shoved up his.....

You publish websites because, like Hitler's propaganda, you tell a lie loud enough and long enough, people will eventually believe it.
I know what you have done.

Your book is not only badly written , but filled with pornography and cussing. At $5 from a thrift store, I still consider it the worst $5 I have ever spent.
It is no wonder that from 1986 to 1997 no-one would think of publishing it, and eventually you paid someone to print it for you, after stealing the money. Fortunately very few people bought the book.
The kids and neighbors on your street cringe in fear of your violent cussing and behavior.

The man has resided in Georgia for decades and has several walls full of letters and endorsements from over 50 prominent individuals that span this time he is a person who has always made himself available to anyone, who does not hide behind anonymous postings.
imagine, he has hundreds of thousands of pages that show his character and who he is, and you have an anonymous posting that shows how much hatred and contempt rules your life...

some folks have associated yourgoingtohell.com with the man. well, that site is owned by one RICHARD KELTNER who operates a ministry called watchmanradio.com. the man herein has hosted this site along with sevral hundred other ministry websites for ten years, as i have written, he believes is free speech, and if Mr. Keltner wants to publish what he believes he can publish, but so can the hundreds of other ministies that have used his services...from baptist ministries to church of god and independants.
and, the funny thing is, he once went against a group of laeyers who threatrned Mr Keltner with a law suit fior Mr. Keltners writings, even thiough Rock did not agree with the writings, he personally took on these lawyers and made them quit...

I was called about these postings and after I read them I wanted to add my comments.
I read in the posts attacking rock with the words DRUG ADDICT and criminal and I am confused.
The only drug activity by rock was when he was 13 years of age. The story is in his book and in several newspaper articles about him, including the Atlanta Jouranl Constitution.
He got hooked on heroin for a summer at 13 and then quit at 13.
I belive he is in his fifties now?
So, what does that mean. DRUG ADDICTS.
As far as his court actions. he sued Dobson and Focus on The Family and Pat Robertson and the 700 Club about copywrite infringement in federal court and spent 3 years fighting them until he won settlement.

these was the RS Bell incident where he wrote an artice critical of a company in support of Robert Scott Bell (jump start your health syndicated radio show rsbell.com) Rock got sued and he won a settlement after nearly three years of fighting.
So Rock did not file to engage folks and make them pay rather than costing them money..that is crazy
He also had an incident in 1990 where a person climbed the fence where he had a loft and was bitten by a dog, he was sued and he won outright.
he sued one guy named papania for copyright infringement and won settlement.
he was sued by the same guy in a domain name dispute.. he won that one too.
he was then sued by the same guy and has been battling him for 3 years.
he also had twenty other situations where he simply wrote LETTERS that caused the individuals to cease threatening rock or individuals rock knew, including the guy who owns yourgoingtohell.com and laststophell.com.
he had a situation with two neighbors when he moved into his new place back in 2005 or 6.
one involcved a neighbor that had a large dog that kept coming onto rock's property and then when he was asked, 5 times, to keep his dog coralled, the guy placed a bright light dgfocuded on rocks windows, rather than get involved in VIOLENCE or COURTS he used the cops to get the guy to cease.
The other stuation was when some woman went berzerk on him and filed a complaint to have rock arrested for CRIMINAL DEFAMATION (based on an out dated law that was used in the 1800's to silence free speech) stating -- falsly and with intent to harm -- that rock was a mobster and drug addict because rock wrote an article critical of the woman -- using the terms ECO NAZI as parody, Rock won that one and then he faced another suit by this same person which was MUTUALLY SETTLED with the other person writing a check.
enough of this character assasination. the postinmgs above that are nbegative are simular to those used in the writings of this woman. Includinthe use of rocks duaghter and wife. the same.
now, if you have something to say, say it without attacking innocent people. One never knows what can happen when folks cross the line.
as far as embezzlement or the other defamatory writings, there are ways to find the ip address of the operson writing these false accusatons, i would be carful if i were you.
one had to work somewhere to embezzal. Rock actually ran a youth minsirty onm ten acrses of land for ten years, from 1994 through 2004. He moved from a penthouse to a 1967 mobile home he paid 3700 for and used his resources to help young people.
he did not take donations, though they were offered,
he ran the program and brought young peole in need to lawrenceville georgia. took care of them, paid them, fed them, provided shelter and more. he ran a 1966 restored ( he restored it) motor home to shoot video and train these young people.
in the ten years the only complaint from anyone, including neigbors, was when he first moved the mobile home onto the property. he won the diuspute and it was over.
when his wife was left a 30,000 vintage impala, rock sold it for 12K and used the funds to build out an old building on the property so he could help more young people.
that is the rock. so, show me the real ministers, honest people and neighbors he bullyed and harrased?

About the Author
Born to Italian-American parents in New York City, Joe Baffa (AKA Rocky Scarfone) was baptized in the Roman-Catholic Church. At eight years of age his father was brutally murdered, his family thrust into a world of poverty, sorrow, grief, and welfare. By eleven years of age he ran away from home: A Don Quixote and Sancho a la New York City, he and his seven year old brother Carmine began a journey as "Men of Respect"-- in a Knightly fashion. "He in brim-feathered fedora, a too small, pinstriped suite and white sneakers; Carmine, in cloths over Pjs". They left a note that they would one day return rich and famous to rescue the family! After an exciting and entertaining journey that took them from the NY Worlds Fair to the mountains of Pennsylvania!--they were returned. But happiness would be short lived: Social workers suddenly appeared on his mother's doorsteps with orders to "take Joe in for three days of psychiatric evaluation to determine why he ran away!" Three days became three months in an adult ward of Belvue hospital.
Upon his "release" at eleven years of age, Joe returned to the streets; living in abandoned apartments and white and black checkered hallways... "That dotted his lonely landscape like the craters of a cold and dusty moonscape". Soon he began running with a group of young "Wise Guys" in effort to survive and belong. After numerous "street: ventures, he was returned, once more--this time to a reform school...
Upon his release at twelve years of age, Joe left once more. Among the many situations along the way, he would become a drug addict. A four story kid with Jack The Cat. A mascot with The South Florida Chapter of The Out Laws Motorcycle Gang. A junior-13-member of a '60's version of the Bonnie and Clyde Gang. A disciple of Rah Lum Nah, a '60's California cult....
All through this incredible journey, Joe believed "someone" watched over him and guided him. Rescuing him at every turn. Though sometimes he received more than a taste of his predicament, his appetite was usually satisfied in small bites. It seemed that he was allowed to feel, see, and experience only so much at each stage, until learned and ready, he would be guided through the next experience.
After a stint in the Armed Forces, where he received his GED, Joe Baffa attended three semesters at Miami Dade Community College. He attended an honors program in English and eventually mastered the business world: A Custom Design Wood Work Company; A Mechanic Shop; A Landscape and Nursery Business; A Consulting Sales and Marketing Firm; Infomercial Production; Flea Market; Boxing Gym; Pawn Shop; A Jewelers Institute; A Custom Jewelry Business...
After a fire destroyed one of his business' and he had begun renovations [Highland Goldsmiths was initiated with $2,500 and in two years became an eleven-thousand five hundred square foot company, involving one hundred associates. From Chapter 26: "Your father is dead" The need to overcome thoughts of his father, his Knight In Shining Armor . . . Who wore a trench coat and carried a .45. . . . lying in a pool of blood . . . his dying thoughts of his family, his hopes, his dreams . . . filled his soul with a mixture of sorrow, revenge and questions. 'Who was responsible? Salley? Tony Black? Uncle Frank? Genovese? Gambino? The Police? Shorty? All of them? And how could these people go home and play with their children? How did they join their families in celebration that day so long ago? How could they enjoy each succeeding holiday of family solace and warmth when they had destroyed the very essence of an entire family? Death could not be simplified and dignified, especially when there were others who were mourning that death! So many thoughts converged within his novice mind. Revenge was the traffic cop... he would get revenge. They had stolen his mother's happiness and thrust Joe-Pep's surviving family into a world of sorrow and depravity--ending their lives before they began. He'd become the vagabond left in a wake of cold, hard, silence. Lost in nomadic journey upon an endless desert, burdened by a never-ending avalanche, each step of hope foundering in a lucid, liquid sand trap. Only to discover relief and succor concealed in a host of additional questions as soon as truth had been discovered. "The Family", "This Thing Of Ours", had become a ravening beast bent upon total destruction, leaving orphans of society in its quest for life. For a mere child of the storm, it was he who was left to pick up the pieces. Would he ever? Would he become the man who avenged the dishonor and sorrow placed upon his family with total disregard to the repercussions of this disastrous act of continuing greed? "YOU WILL PREVAIL!'... But what of Sparticus? What of all those heroes who battled injustice only to die a glorious death in the end? Was he ready for that? Like Charton Heston in Ben Hur, would he return for the ending the hero who rescued his family with the assistance of God? "Oh Jesus, where art thou now? Come to me and deliver your power to defeat mine enemies--they abound like a plague of locust. Send to them a shower of fire and ice! The death of the first born has occurred! Please let my people go! The trial and tribulation desecrated my soul! My 'Knight In Shining Armor' is GONE! Will you take up my cause?" Was God going to perform miracles of Faith, those same miracles that had burst his soul with HIS power to overcome his handicap? He could not answer those questions, later maybe, but for now the overpowering need to get even overruled any further thought. He'd have to leave NY and plan his action. After the meet, he'd leave once more, only this time, the desire for a real family, a real father figure, and real change in his life would clash with his new plan-- his plan for revenge and rescue.

I have never filed an action .. most of my battles were over dummies like you.
I filed only ONE FEDERAL ACTION THROUGH A LAWYER AND THEN TOOK OVER IT MYSELF AND ULTIMATELY WON... the rest of the actions were filed against me, for my writings... DUH
get that? so even that is wrong.. the law suits were filed against me TO INTIMIDATE ME AND COST ME MONEY not that other way around.
as far as CLAIMING to be a Christian Youth Minister, I as a minister to thousands of youth world wide for ten years, woke it slept it did it lived it saw it and worked it. that is fact. with over 25 letters and articles of support. I did not make those letters and as far as tell it enough and all will belive.. I had to LIVE IT,, DUH! LOL

i have many free speech sites. i did write artcles using terms such as communist, extreme right win, eco nazi, and others, there are many still avalable online. they are great pieces including the SCIENTOLOGY web site I published in 1997.
i never created the terms trms for some of the articles i ran on several of my 100's of sites, they existed. eco-nazi, communist, right winger et al google them:
each article was written with fact and truth, that is why no one ever won a liable or defamation suite.

I came across this blog by chance and I am most surprised at the attempted vilification of Mr Scarfones good name and character.
I am a direct student of the legendary Budo master Kenshiro Abbe Sensei from 1957 and a pioneer of British Aikido. The whole history and lineage was about to be turned upside down by the fraudulent claims of an ex-student who was supported by non other that the British Aikido Board ( BAB ) the governing body for Aikido in the UK. If these claims had gone unchallenged the history would have been changed for all the future generation and possibly lost forever. I am no longer a young man and it was a dilemma how to fight these fraudulent claims.I did not know much about computers either.
Out of the blue I received a message from Mr Rock Scarfone offering his full support in my cause. I must admit to being very cautious as we have an old saying in the County of Yorkshire " Tha does nowt fer nowt " ( You do nothing for nothing )....
Mr Scarfone made it clear that he felt these fraudulent claimes were bad for the future young people of Aikido and his support would be entirely free. AND IT WAS !!
With the support of Mr Scarfone I took the British Aikido Board to first the Houses of Parliament and then to Sports England where they the BAB were compelled to give me a public apology, and the history of British aikido is now preserved for future generations.
Thank you once again Mr Scarfone for your many years of unwavering support.

I find it very curious that Rock's brother (google Carmine Baffa) has been arrested and charged with multiple counts of rape and aggravated child molestation. His angle was to entrap these women and children with the promise of therapy and counseling. Rock's approach is to entice troubled teens with web hosting and training in the jewelry business. I say two peas in a pod.
Carmine is in jail without bond. One Baffa bastard down and one to go.

I took time off work just to respond to the last comment. You certainly can not logically judge a person by the actions of another. The actions or alleged actions of Mr. Scarfone's brother in no way indicate similar actions by Mr. Scarfone or a similar mindset. It's been a while since I last spoke to Rock but I would avidly defend him if it had been decades. He has always been the kind of person who sees people for what they are and calls it as he sees it. He may be harsh at times but I've always known him to be honest. The man has ALWAYS treated me like royalty...even when I didn't feel I was deserving of such treatment; always been selfless...one of the most giving people I've known...and always been worthy of my trust. He's the kind of kind who will kill himself to help a person and do without in order to make certain you don't. I would trust the man with my life.

Okay Jay, again the fact of the matter is that you can not judge a man's character by the actions of another. People who do so are typically racists, and biggots, and sexists, etc, etc. Each man must be judged according to his own actions or lack thereof. You can not logically judge Mr. Scarfone by the alleged actions of his brother. I certainly wouldn't want to be judged by the actions of any of my brothers and/or sisters. LOL

Scarfone is an illiterate fraud. His brother is a fraud, just a bit more articulate. We all know that people like his brother are not born nor created in a vacuum. It makes me wonder if the core character of someone like Scarfone, who has a string of shady businesses and a history of anti-social behavior if not serious psychiatric disorders, is not cut from the same piece of genetic/maternal/familial cloth.

Hello to all you miss-informed, uneducated(real life, that is), cretins out there.
Apparently you've never the opportunity to meet Mr. ROcky Scarpone. I have not only met him and his beautiful family, but I have the honor of breaking bread with them.
Rocky lives his life by his own set of rules. They are very simple and easy to live by, so I'll attempt to explain them to you.(If I'm typing too fast for your pea brain, sorry)
#1. Treat everyone you meet with respect. What they do with it is up to them.
#2. You can never judge another until you've lived their life. You are probably more f-upd than them.
#3. Always fight for what you believe is right. Nothing worse than a whiner.Boo f-ing hoo.
#4. Unconditional love for your family and friends. Never walk alone.
#5. Know when to listen. You're not always right.
These are just a fraction of the rules Rocky lives by, and those of you who slander him need to re-evaluate the way you live. Great role model, gotta love him!
The man gives of him self, no-one else. He is extremely lucky(and I think he'ld agree) that he has a wonderful family that happen to believe in the good people can do, just as he does. You people obviously have very low self-esteem.
Why don't you naw-sayers come on down to Ga. and introduce yourself to Rocky. I'm quite sure he'll find time to talk to you. Just be prepared to hear some things about yourself you never knew, 'cause Rock will have you figured out in 8 minutes, tops!
